French asset managers, Carmignac, wanted to break the hold that large banks had over the money of European savers. Showing that there was a better way to grow their savings - if only they had the confidence to take that first step into investing. The result was ‘Emancipate yourself’, an international, multi-channel campaign that busted myths and broke down barriers for first-time investors. The ‘light missile’ treatment was inspired by Carmignac’s logo and provided the perfect visual metaphor for enlightenment and guidance. (The English translation of the preroll is ‘Emancipate yourself from low rates, from received wisdom, from your fears.’)
